Executive Leadership

Joseph Chiaccio, Founder
Joseph Chiaccio
Founder

Joseph Chiaccio is no stranger to success in the world of e-commerce and e-marketing. Also a 4th generation serial entrepreneur, Joseph is a graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro NJ with a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). Joseph used his entrepreneurial skills to pay his way through college. Starting in 1998, he sold vintage and prototype collectible sneakers through the Internet to Japanese clients, with whom they were highly prized. Many sold for well over $1000 per pair.

His first company, Jersey-Joe, was an early pioneer in the online sales of Mitchell & Ness Throwback Jerseys beginning in 2001. At the peak of the market in 2003, the company exploded with $2 million in sales with the basement of his parents' home as the center of operations. Between 2005 and 2007 the company secured rights as an official online dealer with Reebok and Majestic Athletic - a major coup for a small company with no traditional storefront. A dramatic change in demand in the marketplace in 2008 followed by a downturn in the economy in 2009 found Joseph looking for his next challenge, and in 2010, Victory Commerce was born.

Joseph specializes in e-commerce and e-marketing, and draws on his extensive experience, entrepreneurial skills and a multidisciplinary background to guide his clients to success. Joseph enjoys spending time with his family and friends and he is a lifelong automotive enthusiast. As a Volunteer Tour Guide at the Simeone Automotive Foundation Museum in Philadelphia, he educates visitors about racing sports cars and racing history. He also enjoys fitness and home improvement projects.

What's in a name?

We are often asked "How did you come up with the name Victory Commerce? What does that mean?" Simply defined, Victory is a success, triumph or superior position achieved against the competition. Commerce is the buying and selling of goods or services on a large scale between businesses or individuals. Victory Commerce is winning against the competition in business and e-commerce. The name came naturally to us because that's what we do. When money is on the line and the stakes are high, losing is not an option - Victory is essential.

What's in a logo?

We are often asked "That logo is awesome, where did you come up with it?" As an automotive historian and enthusiast, Joseph Chiaccio has always been inspired the cars, the men, and the teams that competed in historic motor racing. He finds a simplistic beauty in photographs of the various eras, which always depict bold and beautiful colors, logos and typefaces.
